Seth Carter has been a licensed insurance agent since 2007. He has owned a Farmers Insurance agency, trained new agency owners, worked as a consultant for independent agencies, and founded Carter Family Insurance in 2014.
While at Farmers, Seth was consistently among the top agents in the state of Indiana. He eventually moved on to work as a consultant in the industry.
Beyond his experience in the insurance industry, Seth wrote, implemented, and instructed an entrepreneurship, career, and business program for Lakeland Middle School in LaGrange, Indiana.
Seth also has extensive experience in digital marketing and eCommerce. In addition to owning Carter Family Insurance, Carter worked as the Product Management & eCommerce manager at DutchCrafters Amish Furniture, the world’s largest online Amish furniture retailer.
He won the Rookie of the Year at DutchCrafters as the most impactful first-year employee in 2020, the 2023 Q4 Colors Award, and the 2023 President’s Award for leading the company to record profit levels.
In addition to his extensive business background, Seth’s passion for the Atlanta Braves and the game of baseball has led to a labor of love. He has written about the Atlanta Braves for House That Hank Built since 2019 and he also owns/operates Talkin’ Tomahawk.
