What is Stacking UM Coverage in Florida?
This means you can add the UM coverage together for each vehicle on your policy to determine the limit of your uninsured motorist coverage.
So for example, if you have policy with 50/100 limits. Remember, that means $50,000 per person and $100,000 per occurrence. Let’s say you have two cars on your policy.
That means you would get 50/100 for each vehicle on your policy. So your 50/100 policy would give you 100/300 ($100,000 per person/$300,000 per occurrence) in uninsured motorist coverage.
